Charity events creator's manual

Here you will find information about registering as a volunteer, creating events, and answers to frequently asked questions.
Warning: only legal entities can create charity events.
How to create charity event?

Registration and authorization

  1. to register your organization's account.
  2. Wait for an email with your login and password.
  3. Go to the authorization page.
  4. Enter your login and password and click «Log in» button.

Creating an event

  1. In the website menu, click on your name and select «Create event»from the list.
  2. Choose the theme of the event: decide on a specific problem or task you want to address. For example, it could be park cleaning, tree planting, or an awareness event on waste recycling.
  3. Name the event: come up with a brief and memorable name for your event. It should reflect the essence of your initiative.
  4. Upload a cover image for the event to make it more appealing to the users.
  5. Fill out the event creation form. Provide a detailed description of the event so participants understand its goals and purpose. Describe the necessary conditions for the event, including gathering time, approximate duration, required equipment and gear, recommended items to bring, etc.
  6. Move the gathering point to the location where participants will meet. Click and hold it, then move the mouse or finger to the desired location.
  7. Draw the event area using the buttons above the map. Each button activates the corresponding mode. After activating the mode, button will turn green. Click the button again to deactivate it.
  8. If necessary, save the event as a draft and complete it later. To save as a draft, it's enough to fill out only the name.
  9. Send the event to review.
  10. Wait for the review result. If the event passed review, it will be in the 
    Accepted
    status and will be displayed on the events page. If edits are required, or the event does not match the theme, the event will be in the 
    Declined
    status.

Viewing and editing events

  • All your event are located in your profile under the «My events» section.
  • To view detailed information about an event, click «Details» button
  • To Send an event to review, click «Send to review» button
  • To edit an event, click «Edit» button.
  • If the event is in the  
    On review
    status but you need to make changes, change it to the  
    Draft
    status using «To drafts» button.
    After editing, don't forget to send the event to review using «Send to review» button.
  • If the event is in the 
    Accepted
    status, you can only make changes with the coordination with the project administration. To do so, send a message to the email info@rebin.eco.
  • To delete an event, click «Delete» button. Warning: you cannot delete an event in the 
    Accepted
    status.
  • To change the event status to
    Draft
    , click «To drafts» button Warning: only events in the 
    On review
    status can be changed to drafts.
